1. ABOUT THIS FILE

The App includes the decompression code of Zstandard (zstd), version 1.5.7, by Meta Platforms, Inc. and affiliates. Only code from the lib/common and lib/decompress folders of Zstandard is compiled into the App's native library, which the App uses to open .zst, .tar.zst and .tzst files. Version 1.3.0 (build 8) of the App did not include Zstandard.

The Zstandard source code is licensed under both the BSD license and the GNU General Public License, version 2, and lets each user choose one of them. The App uses it under the BSD license. Two of the included files, xxhash.h and xxhash.c, name Yann Collet and Meta Platforms, Inc. as copyright holders under the same terms. This file reproduces the BSD license as distributed in the LICENSE file of Zstandard 1.5.7.
