HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA Pocket Bones: Board Games Effective Date: October 27, 2026 Last Updated: October 27, 2026 1. KEY POINTS - Pocket Bones: Board Games (“Pocket Bones” or the “app”) is published by Jesus Afkerian, an individual operating under the AFKERIAN INTERACTIVE brand (“AFKERIAN INTERACTIVE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). - Pocket Bones has no accounts, so there is no account to delete. - Most of your data is stored on your phone and, if you use Android backup, in your Google account. You can delete it yourself at any time (Section 3). - Google collects some data through the app for its own purposes, mainly for ads. We do not hold that data and cannot delete it, but Android and Google give you controls (Section 4). - Some data reaches our Google Firebase project for analytics and crash reports. We cannot tell which records are yours, so we cannot delete them one by one. Google deletes analytics and crash records automatically on a fixed schedule, and Firebase deletes installation IDs after 270 days without activity (Section 5). - If you have emailed us, we will delete your emails within 30 days of your request (Section 6). - Starting with version 1.2, the app downloads its legal documents from our website. We keep no record of these requests, and Cloudflare’s dashboard shows them to us for up to 31 days (Section 7). This page explains each case. Our Privacy Policy, at https://afkerianinteractive.com/pocket-bones/privacy-policy.html, describes all the data in detail. 2. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE AFKERIAN INTERACTIVE publishes Pocket Bones and handles deletion requests. Jesus Afkerian is the founder and owner of AFKERIAN INTERACTIVE. Email: afkerian.support@gmail.com Location: Florida, United States 3. DATA STORED ON YOUR PHONE 3.1 What it is Your games in progress, match history and statistics, your results against the computer opponents, the highlight replay, your settings, your Nearby username, the names you enter for pass-and-play and domino competitions, your friend list, your Nearby security key, your radio progress, the app’s ad-reward records, the privacy choices saved by Google’s consent tool, the files that Google’s software keeps in the app’s storage (such as identifiers for your installation of the app), the copies of the app’s legal documents downloaded from our website (starting with version 1.2), and any crash information that Google’s crash reporting software has saved while crash reporting was off. Most of this data never reaches us. Saved crash information is sent to Google if crash reporting is turned on later (Section 5). Some of the data may also be in your Android backup (Section 3.4). 3.2 Delete parts of it in the app - Match history, statistics and the highlight replay: open Settings and, under Data, tap “Reset data,” then confirm. This cannot be undone. - One friend: open Settings and, under Nearby play, tap “Forget” next to the friend’s name. - Your Nearby username: open Settings and, under Nearby play, change or clear the username. 3.3 Delete all of it On your phone, open the Settings app, tap Apps, then Pocket Bones, then Storage, and tap “Clear storage” (some phones call it “Clear data,” and the menu names vary by manufacturer). This deletes everything the app stored on your phone, including your Nearby security key, the saved privacy choices and the files of Google’s software in the app’s storage. Uninstalling Pocket Bones also deletes all of this data from your phone. A copy may remain in your Android backup (Section 3.4). 3.4 Copies in your Android backup If you have turned on backup on your phone, Android may have copied some app data to your Google account: your settings, Nearby username, friend list (including the stored public keys), pass-and-play names, the ad-reward record, the list of matches already used for ads, the saved privacy choices, your radio progress, the “App recommendations” and Mahjong help settings, the highlight replay, and files that Google’s software keeps in the app’s storage, such as its identifiers, unless that software excludes them from backup. Starting with version 1.2, the copies of the app’s legal documents downloaded from our website are not included in backups. Android keeps only the most recent backup. According to Google’s Android documentation, it makes a new one when at least 24 hours have passed since the last one, your phone is idle and it is connected to Wi-Fi (or to mobile data, if you allowed backups over mobile data). If you clear the app’s storage and keep the app installed, Android normally replaces the old copy at its next backup. If you uninstall the app, the last backup can stay in your Google account, and Android may restore it if you install Pocket Bones again on a phone signed in to that account. Google says that if you turn off backup on your phone, your backups are deleted. This deletes the backups of all your apps, including Pocket Bones. We cannot see or delete your backups. 3.5 Copies on other players’ phones If you played Nearby with someone who tapped “Remember device,” their phone keeps your username, your phone’s Nearby fingerprint and its public key in their friend list. Only they can delete it, with “Forget” in their own Settings. After you clear your app’s storage, the app creates a new Nearby key the next time you use Nearby, so their saved entry will no longer match your phone. 4. DATA THAT GOOGLE COLLECTS FOR ITS OWN PURPOSES 4.1 What it is Google’s ads software (Google AdMob), its consent tool (the User Messaging Platform) and Google Play services collect some data through the app, such as your IP address, your Android advertising ID, an app set ID, how you use the app and its ads, and performance and device data. Google uses this data for its own purposes under the Google Privacy Policy, https://policies.google.com/privacy. 4.2 Why we cannot delete it This data goes directly from your phone to Google. We do not receive it, we cannot look it up and we cannot ask Google to delete the data of a particular person. 4.3 What you can do - Delete your advertising ID: on recent Android versions, open your phone’s Settings app and go to Privacy, then Ads (on some phones, Google, then Ads), and tap “Delete advertising ID.” After that, apps receive a string of zeros instead of the ID, and Google’s software in Pocket Bones can no longer send it. You can instead tap “Reset advertising ID” to replace it with a new one. - Opt out in the app: if Settings shows “Privacy choices” under Data (starting with version 1.2, also in the Legal & licenses screen), you can use it to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. This button appears only where Google’s consent tool offers it. - Stop Nearby usage statistics: in your phone’s Settings app, tap Google, then Usage & diagnostics. - Use Google’s own tools: My Ad Center, at https://myadcenter.google.com/, and the Data & privacy page of your Google Account, at https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy. The Google Privacy Policy explains how to review, manage and delete the data Google holds and how to contact Google. 5. DATA IN OUR FIREBASE PROJECT 5.1 What it is We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. They send Google usage data (such as sessions, screens viewed, ad events, device information and approximate location), crash reports and random identifiers for your installation of the app. We see this data in our Firebase project for Pocket Bones. Google handles crash reporting data on our behalf. Google Analytics is a separate Google service under its own terms (Privacy Policy, Section 8.4). 5.2 Why we cannot delete your records on request Pocket Bones does not ask for your name, email or any account, and Firebase organizes the data by random installation codes that the app does not show you. When you write to us, we have no way to know which Firebase records came from your phone. For that reason we cannot find and delete your records individually. 5.3 How it is deleted Google deletes this data automatically: - Analytics event data: 2 months after it is collected. - Analytics user data: 2 months after the last time you used the app. - Crash reports and their identifiers: Google starts removing them 90 days after receiving them. - Firebase installation IDs: Firebase deletes an installation ID after 270 days without activity (Google’s current threshold), and Google says that data tied to a deleted installation ID is removed from its live and backup systems within 180 days. Aggregated reports, such as daily totals of users, are kept. Pocket Bones does not delete installation IDs itself. 5.4 What you can do - Clear the app’s storage (Section 3.3). This deletes the Firebase identifiers stored on your phone. Google Analytics may record that the app’s data was cleared (Google calls this event “app_clear_data”). If you keep using the app, Firebase creates new identifiers, and we do not connect them to the old ones. Google’s software may still send your advertising ID unless you delete it (Section 4.3). - Uninstall the app. Google Analytics records that the app was uninstalled (Google calls this event “app_remove”). After that, Firebase receives nothing more from the app on that phone. If you install the app again and Android restores a backup (Section 3.4), the restored files can include the old identifiers. We do not copy Firebase data to any other system. 6. EMAILS YOU SENT US If you emailed afkerian.support@gmail.com, we have your email address, your name as it appears in your email, your messages and any attachments. To delete them, email afkerian.support@gmail.com from the same address and ask us to delete your data. It helps if you use the subject “Delete my data.” Within 30 days of your request, or sooner if the law where you live requires it, we will delete your emails, our replies and any notes about them from our mailbox, including its trash, and we will confirm by email. Google, which hosts our mailbox, says that deleted data can remain in its encrypted backup systems for up to 6 months (https://policies.google.com/technologies/retention). We keep a short record that you made the request (its date, what you asked and what we did) for 24 months, so that we can show we handled it. If the law requires us to keep something, or we need it for a dispute or legal claim, we will tell you what we are keeping and why. If you do not ask, we delete support emails 24 months after our last message with you. 7. REQUESTS TO OUR WEBSITE FOR LEGAL DOCUMENTS Starting with version 1.2, the app downloads its legal documents from afkerianinteractive.com each time it starts, each time you open Legal & licenses, and about once every 24 hours in the background (Privacy Policy, Section 5.1). Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives your IP address and your phone’s standard network identification string, which normally includes your Android version and your phone’s model. Earlier versions of the app do not make these requests. We do not export, download or keep any record of these requests, so we hold nothing that we could delete. Cloudflare’s dashboard shows us traffic statistics and a sample of individual requests, which can include the IP address, user agent, path and country, for up to 31 days. After that period they are no longer available to us, and we cannot remove them earlier. Cloudflare keeps its own records as its privacy policy describes (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/). The requests stop when you uninstall the app. 8. SUMMARY - Data on your phone: you delete it (Settings, “Clear storage” or uninstall). - Your Android backup: replaced by the next backup while the app is installed, or deleted if you turn off backup. - Google’s advertising and Nearby data: Google’s; use the advertising ID controls and Google’s tools. - Firebase analytics and crash data: deleted automatically by Google (Analytics event data after 2 months, Analytics user data 2 months after your last use, crash reports from 90 days, installation IDs after 270 days without activity). - Your emails: deleted by us within 30 days of your request. - Requests to our website for legal documents (version 1.2 and later): we keep no record of them; Cloudflare’s dashboard shows them to us for up to 31 days. 9.
